Get ready for the wildest, silliest, most wonderfully ridiculous fairy-tale adventure ever! In this two-week performance camp, performers will dive into The Stinky Cheese Man & Other Fairly Stupid Tales: a fast, funny, fairy-tale mash-up filled with twisted stories, goofy characters, and nonstop imagination.

Though the characters may be familiar, each of your favorite storybook fables is uproariously derailed in this adaptation of Jon Scieszka and Lane Smith's quintessential children's book of fractured fairy tales. Everything from "Chicken Little" to "The Gingerbread Man" gets a complete makeover. Fun music and witty narration accompany the likes of ineloquent giants, sassy barnyard animals, colossal cow pies, and enough stinky cheese to go around.

Campers will build confidence as they explore big characters, physical comedy, storytelling, and teamwork in a supportive, upbeat environment.

What to Expect:

• Acting games that build confidence and spark imagination

• Creating characters through voice, movement, and expression

• Working together to tell stories onstage

• Putting together a show in 2 weeks

Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (earliest drop of at 8:30am)

*Final performance will take place Friday, June 19th from 3-4pm. Open to the public.

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made at least 14 days before the start of camp will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the program start date are not eligible for a refund, as staffing, supplies, and planning have already been finalized. Camp fees can be used a credit towards other UYT camps, classes, or workshops.

• If UYT must cancel a program for any reason, families will receive a full refund.
