For students ready to step into leadership roles or explore the world beyond performance, this quarter focuses on the creative and technical sides of theatre. Through hands-on activities, students will learn the directing process, develop their artistic vision, and explore essential elements of theatrical design. This quarter is ideal for students interested in stage management, directing, or technical theatre at UYT.

What we’ll explore:

• How directors interpret scripts, shape scenes, and lead rehearsals

• Building a cohesive artistic vision

• Set, costume, prop, sound, and lighting design fundamentals

• Communication, collaboration, and leadership development

• Creative problem-solving and real-world applications within UYT productions

Cancellation Policy:
If your student can no longer attend, please notify UYT at least 72 hours before the session so we can offer the spot to another participant. No refunds are available after this window, but credit may be issued for future programming at UYT’s discretion.
