⚔️🎭 Stage Combat Workshop (Grades 7–12)

Learn the art of stage fighting in this high-energy Stage Combat Workshop! Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of safe, choreographed combat used in plays and musicals, focusing on trust, teamwork, and storytelling.

Guided by an experienced instructor, participants will practice unarmed combat techniques and explore how movement, timing, and character choices bring fight scenes to life — all while keeping safety the number-one priority.

• Learn the basics of unarmed stage combat in a safe, structured setting.

• Build trust and teamwork with partners through choreographed sequences.

• Explore how fights tell a story and enhance dramatic moments on stage.

• A fun, active workshop that combines physicality and performance.

Meet the Teacher:

RJ Cecott is an award-winning actor and fight choreographer, and a proud graduate of Illinois State University.
