UYT Spectator Covid Protocols
Spectators of the UYT production of Les Miserables must be aware of the UYT Covid policies and the recognition that the audience assumes the risk of Covid-19 infection while viewing this production and agrees not to hold United Youth Theater responsible. No policy or action taken by UYT or St. Mary’s College to provide a safe environment will be 100% effective during this pandemic but, working together, we should be able to minimize our collective risks.
At this time, visitors to the college are not required to wear a mask unless:
The visitor is not fully up-to-date with Covid vaccinations (not vaccinated or not received a booster they are eligible for).
The visitor has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid.
The visitor is coming out of quarantine or isolation periods for Covid that require masking.
Unmasked visitors should be prepared to show proof of vaccination when requested.
UYT will have masks on hand at all performances for spectators, cast members, production team members, and volunteers.
Visitors may choose to continue to wear a mask if they like.
Visitors who are not prepared to show proof of vaccination when requested should be prepared to wear a mask.
Social distancing will not be required inside the theater.
If you feel sick or have Covid-like symptoms, please stay at home!
Concessions may or may not be available during performances. This decision will be made closer to the projected show dates.
Additional measures and changes to these policies may be taken depending on circumstances to ensure the safety of all up to and including the postponement of production.
