December 2 or 3, 2026

Join UYT as we kick off our 10th Anniversary Season with this powerful story of courage, hope, and humanity.

In this transcendently powerful new adaptation by Wendy Kesselman, Anne Frank emerges from history as a living, lyrical, intensely gifted young girl who confronts her rapidly changing life and the growing horror of her time with astonishing honesty, wit, and determination. An impassioned drama about the lives of eight people hiding from the Nazis in a concealed storage attic, The Diary of Anne Frank captures the claustrophobic realities of their daily existence – their fear, their hope, their laughter, their grief.

You only need to come to one night of auditions, and there is no preparation needed. If you fill out the digital form, you will not need to fill one out at auditions.

If cast, there will be a $100 production fee per cast member. This fee will be used towards production expenses, including costumes, props, sets, tech and more. Even with this in place, it is our commitment and mission to provide access to the arts for EVERY kid. Payment plans will always be available and additional support can be granted on an as need basis.

Rehearsals for the production will take place starting Monday, January 4th, 2027 and will be held weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with occasional Saturday rehearsals as well.
