🎭 Think Fast! Improv with UYT

Ready to laugh, play, and grow your confidence? Improv is the ultimate class for building quick thinking, body awareness, and verbal expression and it’s a ton of fun! Whether you’ve never tried improv before or you’ve already been on stage, this class is for everyone. Through games, scenes, and team-based exercises, students will sharpen their comedy chops, boost public speaking skills, and learn to think fast on their feet. Improv is also a powerful tool for auditions and a great way to connect with others in a supportive, no-pressure environment.

What to expect:

• Fun and engaging theatre games that build teamwork and creativity.

• Tools to improve confidence, listening skills, and stage presence.

• A welcoming space for beginners and experienced improvisers alike.

• An environment that’s all about trying, failing, laughing, and trying again!

✨ Meet the Instructor: KelliMcBride

Kelli is a 20+ year veteran of Chicago improv, with credits including Players Workshop, The Second City, I.O., Annoyance Theater, The Factory Theater, Victory Gardens, and more. She’s not only an accomplished actress, director, writer, stand-up comedian, and voice-over talent, but also a passionate teacher.

Kelli has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Michigan University and has spent the last decade in the Michiana area sharing the joy of improv with hundreds of students. She loves helping people discover their confidence, creativity, and comedic voice — and is excited to bring her expertise to UYT!

📌 Cancellation Policy:

• All classes must have at least six participants registered; enrollment lower than six will result in cancellation.

• Cancellation 14 days or more prior: Full tuition refunded.

• Cancellation less than 14 days prior: Tuition may be transferred to another UYT program, no refund issued.

• If UYT cancels due to low enrollment, tuition is refunded in full.
