He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a lifelong struggle for redemption as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. Finally, during the Paris student uprising of 1832, Javert must confront his ideals after Valjean spares his life and saves that of the student revolutionary who has captured the heart of Valjean's adopted daughter.

The Lion, The WItch, and the Wardrobe

This new dramatization of C.S. Lewis' classic, set in the land of Narnia, faithfully recreates the magic and mystery of Aslan, the great lion, his struggle with the White Witch, and the adventures of four children who inadvertently wander from an old wardrobe into the exciting, never-to-be-forgotten Narnia. The intense action features chases, duels and escapes as the witch is determined to keep Narnia in her possession and to end the reign of Aslan. All the memorable episodes from the story are represented in this exciting dramatization: the temptation of Edmund by the witch, the slaying of the evil wolf by Peter, the witnessing of Aslan's resurrection by Susan and Lucy, the crowing of the four new rulers of Narnia, and more. The supporting characters are also here: the unicorn, the centaur and other forest animals, along with Father Christmas, Mr. and Mrs. Beaver and Tumnus the Faun. This story of love, faith, courage and giving, with its triumph of good over evil, is a true celebration of life.

The age-old story of good and evil, of light and dark, of winter and summer will wow audiences. We are ecstatic to share and produce this story with a new generation of children. Together, we will step through a wardrobe into a world that is winter but never Christmas, drink tea with Mr. Tummnus, have dinner with the Beavers, and meet Aslan the Lion. Together, we will see the winter turn to spring, and see the light in the dark.

Legally Blonde JR. follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. When Elle's boyfriend, Warner, dumps her and heads to Harvard, claiming she's not "serious" enough, Elle takes matters into her own hands, crafting a showy song-and-dance personal essay and charming her way into law school. Befriending classmate, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, along the way, Elle finds that books and looks aren't mutually exclusive. As Elle begins outsmarting her peers, she realizes that law may be her natural calling after all

If We Listen

A UYT original show If We Listen will make it’s world debut next season. If We Listen will be created through anonymous submissions of scenes, monologues, letters, poems and songs from teens and parents from all across the Michiana area. This show will focus tackle the struggles teens go through each and every day - fights with friends, family issues, divorce, peer pressure, bullying, the influence of social media, and mental health struggles. If you’re a teenager or a parent and have a story to share or know someone who has a story to tell please share this show. We want to tell the stories of the challenges you face day to day.

A info and story submission link will be available soon to all to share their story! If you have any questions please email drakeshrader@uytinc.org

Seussical Jr

Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!

From The Cat in The Hat, to Horton Hears a Who, this musical takes the Seuss stories we remember from our childhood and combines them into a fun yet poignant show about sticking up for the literal little guy, being true to yourself and the fearless fun of creativity.
